Our Team
The founders of Sunshine Multifamily Partners are Walter Weiler and Ed Ryder. Together they have almost 50 years of combined experience in the real estate industry through acquisitions, development, financing, and construction management.
Walter Weiler
Mr. Weiler has an extensive career in construction and real estate investments. He has owned, constructed, and renovated multiple types of properties, including multifamily, assisted living, single family homes and a manufactured housing community. He is a licensed general contractor, the owner of a fast-growing metal roof manufacturing company, and he has developed an extensive network of affiliations with architects and the construction trades.

Ed Ryder
Mr. Ryder is an institutional real estate and finance professional with extensive, national experience across multiple asset classes and in all phases of real estate investment management, including strategy, market selection, acquisitions, dispositions, development, joint ventures, debt financing, equity capital raising, and portfolio management. Over his career, he has managed the acquisition of $1.5 billion of properties nationwide, including 13,000 multifamily units and 2.6 million SF of office space. Mr. Ryder received his MBA from the University of Chicago and his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of South Florida.
